About the Journal
The Journal of Young Women’s Breast Cancer & Health (JYWBC) – The Pink Journal – is the official publication of the Breast Cancer in Young Women Foundation (BCYW Foundation). The journal is an open-access periodical offering continuous publication of original medical research. The Journal distinguishes itself as the first international interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal for sharing the latest research and advancements in diverse facets of young women’s breast cancer and breast health, including benign disease, early detection, breast surgery, breast reconstruction, prevention, population-based study, societal and economic impact, survivorship, and advocacy efforts explicitly targeting young women.
The JYWBC publishes a wide range of content, including original studies on basic & translational science, public health, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, outreach, and survivorship, as well as review articles, editorial insights, commentaries, letters to the editor, new hypotheses, guidelines, meeting reports, and invited book reviews.
The journal serves a diverse audience encompassing healthcare researchers, practitioners, community medicine experts, and healthcare students at all levels of training. Additionally, it reaches breast cancer survivors and advocates, providing them with valuable insights and information across the spectrum of care and advocacy in breast cancer and breast health.
